The Israel Innovation Authority announces the signing of an agreement with CNH Industrial, as part of the Authority's R&D and Pilot Collaboration with multinational corporations (MNC) program. This program foresees industrial collaboration between a set of Israeli technology companies and CNH Industrial, a global leader in the capital goods sector.
As part of this agreement, the Israel Innovation Authority will support CNH Industrial in identifying Israeli technological developments and companies that fall within its sphere of activity. Upon CNH Industrial's interest in seeking further development of such technologies, the Israel Innovation Authority will provide funding for the Israeli startups, while CNH Industrial would in turn support the startups’ R&D, marketing and other global activities, providing opportunities to access international markets.
With over 64,000 employees in some 180 markets, CNH Industrial operates 57 R&D centers globally. The Company is committed to innovating at the highest levels to lead in all of the sectors in which it operates. This collaboration emphasizes Israel’s role at the forefront of innovation, which in turn attracts international attention in many leading fields.”
“As a globally inclusive and innovative Company, we are keen to leverage the power of Israeli innovations to bring customer-oriented solutions to the sectors in which we operate. This opportunity with the Israel Innovation Authority gives us access to fresh concepts which challenge how we work, and in turn we can make a difference by opening up new channels to these up-and-coming realities,” said Selin Tur, Vice President Advanced Technologies & Innovations at CNH Industrial.
“This agreement is a natural step for our initiative to bring the Israeli innovative ecosystem closer to CNH Industrial. Along the years, we were pleased to see the growing interest in the Israeli companies in different areas and the connections it created. It will help facilitate this process and bring CNH Industrial even closer to Israel and I hope will prove to be a trigger for strategic projects with Israeli companies in the future,” said Jonathan Hadar, Minister, Israel Economic&Trade Mission to Italy.
First established in 2005, the Israel Innovation Authority’s program offers a unique framework for technological cooperation between MNCs and innovative Israeli companies.
