CASE Construction Equipment is launching a range of new machines and technology upgrades with a focus on providing rental businesses with equipment that’s simple to use, painless to maintain and easy to keep moving off the lot. With the growing need for cost-effective, crowd-pleasing equipment in an increasingly competitive rental market, CASE is helping to equip rental businesses with smarter, more versatile products to help maximize machine investments and achieve business growth.

The new launch includes a rugged and reliable compact wheel loader, an in-demand electric compact wheel loader and a highly versatile small articulated loader with a telescopic boom. As part of the launch, CASE is also updating its popular compact track loaders and skid steer loaders to offer more intuitive operation, improved safety and comfort. The new machines and upgrades are aimed at providing rental houses with reliable, versatile machines with minimal learning curves.

“Rental businesses need equipment that’s going to maximize utilization, minimize headaches and drive customer satisfaction across diverse applications,” says Terry Dolan, head of CNH Construction Brands, North America. “At CASE, we focus on solving these challenges by listening to our rental customers, taking a practical approach to innovation and continuously improving to deliver smart, intuitive, reliable machines that can help drive rental businesses forward.”

New Compact Wheel Loader Powers Productivity Across Industries

For rental houses who want to offer a machine tough enough for heavy construction but also flexible enough for diverse jobs like snow removal or landscaping, the new 112-horsepower CASE 421G compact wheel loader offers a perfect balance of muscle and versatility.

The 421G delivers breakout forces of nearly 16,900 lbs., rivaling larger models, while also featuring a hydrostatic drive that enables attachments unavailable to larger machines. The hydraulic system incorporates advanced flow-sharing and load-sensing technology, and a high-flow hydraulic option supports diverse rental demands by powering attachments like sweepers, augers or forks. The streamlined design packs more punch and flexibility in a smaller package, making it a great fit for both accessing confined jobsites and heavy material handling.

The 421G is also designed to delight operators, featuring a spacious cab with seat-mounted controls, enhanced all-around visibility and a customizable digital display with an integrated rearview camera. Operator comfort is key in rental equipment, and the 421G delivers with a comfortable, automotive-style cab that makes working long shifts easy.

Like all new CASE equipment, the 421G is telematics-enabled, allowing for remote monitoring of equipment use, location and maintenance needs. This feature gives rental companies deeper insights into fleet performance, helping optimize utilization, reduce downtime and improve customer satisfaction.

New EV Compact Wheel Loader Meets Electrified Demand

Expanding the CASE EV offering to 4 electric models, CASE is officially launching the 3.6-metric ton CASE CL36EV electric compact wheel loader, after previewing the model in 2024. The construction industry has seen growing demand for electric equipment to meet unique jobsite requirements where noise and/or emissions need to be kept to a minimum. The CL36EV compact wheel loader provides a powerful, versatile solution for jobs like these, with performance that equals its diesel counterpart, plus all the benefits of electrification. Zero emissions, minimal noise, simplified maintenance and lower total cost of ownership — the CL36EV is the ideal machine for renters who need to take on green-credentialed jobs or work in highly regulated environments.

The CL36EV is designed to give rental businesses a versatile machine for a broad range of jobs and customers, while also delivering next-generation technology for sustainable construction. With a hinge-pin height of over 10 feet and compatibility with versatile attachments like forks, rakes and sweepers, it’s well-suited for tasks ranging from landscaping and hardscaping to large-scale building renovations or projects where indoor operation is required.

New Small Articulated Loader Extends the Reach For Rentals

Small articulated loaders have been growing in popularity due to their compact size, maneuverability and low impact on sensitive surfaces like asphalt and turf. With this year’s launch, CASE is adding even more maneuverability and versatility with a new telescopic-boom version of the CASE SL27. With a hinge-pin height of 142 inches, the 50-horsepower, 2.6-metric ton SL27 TR lets operators reach over obstacles, stack materials taller or offload from higher areas.

A skid-steer-style universal hydraulic coupler provides excellent attachment versatility and quick attachment changes for buckets, trenchers and more. And the intuitive controls of the SL27 TR — along with the forward articulation joint —make it easy to maneuver with very little learning curve. The compact size makes it easy to transport, and the durable, low-maintenance design is perfectly fitted for high-cycle use typical for rental businesses.

Compact Track Loaders and Skid Steer Updates Boost Safety

CASE B Series compact track loaders and skid steer loaders are high-demand machines for DIYers and professional contractors alike who need a versatile workhorse on the job. With exceptional attachment versatility for running buckets, rakes, augers, or sweepers, these machines can do everything from loading and transporting to grading and trenching. Now, CASE is making upgrades to all its B Series models with safety-enhancing features like rear object detection, which uses radar to detect potential hazards behind the machine and alert operators.

New upgrades to CASE compact track loaders and skid steer loaders also include advanced technologies to make operation easier and minimize downtime. A new bi-directional self-leveling feature lets operators automatically keep the bucket or fork level when raising or lowering the boom. And when changing attachments, operators can now access an attachment display catalogue with simple instructions to make operation easier. CASE also incorporated an advanced processing and connectivity module (P&CM) and connectivity module (CM1X) for precise GPS data and SiteWatch™ telematics, letting rental businesses track usage and maintenance to better manage their fleet.

“Easy to use. Easy to maintain and transport. And easy to own. That’s what we set out to do for rental businesses with our latest round of innovations to CASE machines,” says Dolan. “By purpose-building machines from top to bottom to maximize business value, we’re empowering rental operations to meet customer demand, streamline fleet management and help grow their business more efficiently than ever.”
