CASE Introduces New V-Series Backhoe Loaders: Enhanced Performance and Operator Comfort
CASE Construction Equipment unveils its new V-Series backhoe loaders – the latest in a long lineage of industry-leading machines born in 1957. The new series features a larger cabin and improved controls while maintaining some of the best performance characteristics in its segment. Together, these enhancements boost productivity and elevate operator comfort.
Enhanced Performance, Superior Operator Comfort, and Excellent Maneuverability
The newly redesigned cabin features more interior and exterior space, including increased legroom for the operator. This redesign simplifies entry and exit and allows the operator to easily switch the seat position between loader and excavator controls. A modified left console includes an open tray with an easily accessible washer fluid reservoir, which can now be filled directly from the left side door. Improved cabin ergonomics also enhance overall productivity. Key updates that make the operator’s work more comfortable include:
- new parking brake lever location;
- new speedometer and repositioned switches on the right console (varies by model);
- a new direction switch integrated into the loader control joystick (on models with powershift transmission);
- a new rotary control for the telescopic part of the boom;
- repositioned stabilizer controls.
New rear side windows enhance visibility, reduce replacement costs, and improve operator safety. The repositioned horn switch on models with powershift transmission is now more accessible in emergencies, underscoring the series’ focus on safety and comfort. The cabin is equipped with two USB ports, a 12V outlet on the dashboard, a mobile phone holder, Bluetooth interface, and storage compartments with the largest capacity in the segment—four times larger than the previous series. These include two lockable compartments, two cup holders, four open trays, and, if equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerated compartment. All compartments feature stylish, high-quality plastic finishes.
FPT: Durability and Superior Performance
The proven FPT engine delivers optimal fuel efficiency during travel and operational tasks, especially when using the excavator function. It offers best-in-class power and torque while minimizing operating costs with a variable displacement hydraulic pump (depending on the model) that activates only when needed. The series maintains efficient layout designs with one-sided machine access for quick and easy maintenance.
Continuous Innovation: The Legend Lives On
The new V-Series continues a 60-year legacy of innovation that has earned CASE backhoe loaders the unofficial title of "King." In 1957, CASE became the first manufacturer to introduce a factory-built backhoe loader. Two years later, it released the first diesel engine backhoe. The lineup includes various groundbreaking features like Ride Control, powershift transmissions, and a unique quick coupler mechanism, which remains essential equipment even for modern models.
