From October 17 to 21, 2023, CASE customers and distributors visited one of CNH’s largest factories, located in the industrial city of Pithampur, India. This plant manufactures a wide range of world-class construction equipment, including CASE crawler excavators, vibratory compactors, backhoe loaders, and skid steer loaders.
Among the invited guests were representatives from major companies in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan specializing in road and civil construction. Customers expressed their appreciation of the personal experience of exploring the manufacturing facilities of the legendary CASE Construction Equipment brand.
The Pithampur plant, built in 1989, covers an area of over 16 hectares and includes four assembly lines. Visitors were particularly impressed by the modern production organization and advanced technological equipment, including precision laser cutting machines, robotic welding systems, and a powder coating system.
Currently, the plant's products meet the needs of the domestic Indian market and are exported to over 75 countries across Africa, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region, and North and Latin America. As CASE construction equipment is used in diverse applications, the factory offers a wide range of 1,000 options to ensure maximum alignment of products with customer needs.
Additionally, the Pithampur plant houses a Research and Development Center, where CASE engineers continuously improve products based on feedback from the field, ensuring that the equipment meets future requirements.
After the factory tour, participants visited the CNH test site, for a presentation and demonstration of CASE equipment, including the CX220C LC-HD crawler excavator, the 1110EX vibratory compactor, the updated 570SV backhoe loader, and the SR175B skid steer loader. The program also included a sightseeing tour of Delhi and a visit to the Taj Mahal.
