Telematics is the integrated use of telecommunications and informatics. The hardware module collects data from a machine’s systems and transmits the information over the air so it can be reviewed remotely.
CASE SiteWatch telematics uses GSM cellular communications, the choice of cellular signal will be made automatically by the telematics device. We have contracted with the leading cellular providers in North America including AT&T, T-Mobile and Rogers Wireless. If cell signal is not available, the device collects and stores your data then forwards it when the network is available. Add-on satellite communications coverage is in development. Details for satellite communication availability and cost are forthcoming.
Today, the modem used within CASE equipment only works with GSM communications networks. Countries that do not utilize GSM communications networks do not support the function of the telematics modem at this time.

CASE SiteWatch stores up to 40 parameters on the equipment when the ADVANCED service is used. The system will store at least 18 months of data for that particular machine and the selected parameter set (parameters can be set to a default selection or managed individually). Based on the quantity of data, the most current data is retained and searchable with reporting features. The modem itself will store more than 30 days of data when communication networks are not available for transmission of the data. Customers interested in keeping more than 18 months worth of data should download and keep a separate database of machine operation data.
The CASE dealers are the ones that know everything about CASE products.
