CASE Construction Equipment is launching a new bundle of machines and machine upgrades aimed at helping landscaping crews get more jobs done, more efficiently. With the pressures of labor shortages, rising costs and the need for versatile equipment, CASE is equipping landscapers with right-sized machines that are easy to operate and maneuver, helping them stay productive across a wide variety of worksites.
The new lineup features an efficient compact wheel loader, an emissions-free electric compact wheel loader and a new small articulated loader with a telescopic boom that excels in tight spaces. As part of the launch, CASE is also updating compact track loaders and skid steer loaders to provide more intuitive operation, better visibility and comfort — enabling landscapers to adopt powerful machinery with minimal learning curves.
“Landscapers need equipment that matches the demands of their work, whether that means working in narrow spaces, minimizing maintenance demands or overcoming workforce challenges,” says Terry Dolan, head of CNH Construction Brands, North America. “CASE sets out to solve those challenges by listening to landscapers and innovating to meet their needs with swift, smooth, smart machines that simplify work and empower teams to maximize productivity in any environment.”
New Small Articulated Loader Gives Landscapers a Bigger Reach
CASE continues building out its line of small articulated loaders to give landscapers machines that are gentle on turf and ideally suited for their work. With this year’s release,
a new telescopic-boom version of the CASE SL27 small articulated loader gives landscapers an efficient machine that can reach over obstacles and boost productivity on the job. With a hinge-pin height of 142 inches, the 50-horsepower, 2.6-metric ton SL27 TR delivers exceptional reach for tasks like stacking materials, placing stone or moving trees or shrubs over fences.
The SL27 TR uses a skid-steer-style universal hydraulic coupler for excellent attachment versatility. This allows for quick attachment changes for tools like trenchers, pallet forks, rakes or augers for tree planting. Easy operation enhances productivity, while its compact, highly maneuverable design ensures it can access tight backyards, narrow gates and other confined spaces without disturbing finished landscapes.
With the power to handle heavy loads, this new machine makes hauling and material handling more efficient and equips landscaping teams to take on bigger jobs. From transporting mulch, soil and sod to lifting and placing heavy loads with precision, this loader is built to keep jobs moving smoothly and efficiently.
New Compact Wheel Loader Boosts Productivity for Bigger Landscaping Projects
For landscaping teams who need a tough machine for tackling bigger jobs, the new 112-horsepower CASE
421G compact wheel loader combines power, maneuverability and versatility to manage demanding tasks with ease. With breakout forces nearing 16,900 lbs., it delivers heavy-duty performance in a manageable size, making it a great fit for loading in the supply yard, grading large landscapes or moving bulk materials.
The hydraulic system of the 421G features flow sharing and load sensing capabilities, allowing operators to control hydraulic flow for optimal efficiency. A high-flow hydraulic option also supports specialized landscaping attachments like rakes for surface prep, sweepers for cleanup or forks for loading and transporting pallets. With its hydrostatic drive and versatile attachment compatibility, the 421G is an all-in-one machine for highly varied landscaping tasks.
Operators can continue working safely and more comfortably with the new cab structure of the 421G, which features more glass and seat-mounted controls for better all-around visibility. The cab also includes modern essentials like a customizable color display with encoder, an in-display rear-view camera and a USB port and phone holder.
New EV Compact Wheel Loader Gives Landscapers More Power with Zero Emissions
Previewed in 2024, the 3.6-metric ton CASE
CL36EV electric compact wheel loader is officially launching this year to give landscaping crews an emissions-free, low noise solution for taking on demanding projects. Ideal for residential settings or commercial landscaping projects with green credentials, the CL36EV delivers the same power and performance as comparably sized diesel-powered loaders and moves bulk materials like soil, mulch or rock with ease. With a hinge-pin height of over 10 feet and compatibility with versatile attachments like forks, rakes and sweepers, it can handle tasks ranging from hauling pavers and trees to fine cleanup.
The CL36EV offers the same high-power performance as a comparable diesel model, with all the added benefits of electrification. Zero emissions, minimal noise and simplified maintenance make this machine ideal for landscapers who want to lower their total cost of ownership or access new opportunities in unique operating environments. Quiet operation makes it perfect for noise-sensitive areas, while its versatility and clean energy design help professionals meet modern sustainability demands without compromising capability.
Updates to Compact Track Loaders and Small Skid Steer Loaders Boost Maneuverability
For landscapers, CASE B Series
compact track loaders and
skid steer loaders have been go-to machines for handling highly varied tasks in the supply yard and in the field. With exceptional attachment versatility for running rakes, augers, buckets and other landscaping tools, these machines can do everything from loading and transporting materials to planting trees and mulching. And their compact size enables accessibility through narrow gates and tight property lines, making them ideal for residential and commercial landscaping projects alike.
Now, CASE is upgrading all of their B Series machines to add more maneuverability on the job. A new rear object detection feature, which uses radar to detect potential hazards behind the machine, keeps operators aware of obstacles to make navigating close quarters easier. And a bi-directional self-leveling system ensures that forks or buckets stay level as the boom moves up or down, enhancing accuracy during loading and grading to keep projects running smoothly.
“Our approach to practical innovation is driven by the challenges that landscapers face every day,” says Dolan. “With the latest round of advancements, we’re delivering smarter, more versatile equipment to help landscaping professionals conquer more jobs, in any environment, more efficiently and effectively than ever.”
